Problem with BITPIM

When I try to connect with my phone this is the error I get. If anyone can help or suggest anything, please let me know!

Are you using the USB cable? If so this is from the BitPim website:

If you are using a straight USB cable with the LG VX4400 phone then you will have issues. This is due to an issue in the phone itself. Please do not ask for support on *any* issue if you use this cable.

No, I have the kyocera slider. and i'm using the serial version cable that i bought from the kyocera store.

Try gagin it works better and what are you doing when you try to connect you should go to view file system and add files through that screen i dont think you add files the other ways

opps, I got confused between forums, I saw the VX4400 in your thread, sorry. I do use Bitpim with my slider but I have to use bitpim .62, any of the 7x versions and I get all kinds of errors. Try .62. The only thing that works is the file system view, BTW.
