well i just got this phone yesterday, after upgrading from the VX1. I love the small size and speaker phone feature, but one major downfall is the max volume (5) isn't that loud at all. This was also an issue with the v120c when I owned it, but got rid of that shortly. Is there any way to change some settings to increase this even more? I'm debating getting a new phone, but I really don't like the idea of getting a bulkier one, especially with no speaker feature. (the 8900 seems to big). Any info appreciated, thanks!

Sometimes I find the earpiece (hand set) to be too loud. Are you sure you got it cranked up all the way? If it is not loud enough, then use the speakerphone, but hold the phone as you would in normal phone conversations...take heed though and adjust the volume to the appropriate level..could be too loud!!!!

yes i'm positive it's all the way up. i hit the top botton on the side of the phone and it shows level 5.

i came across another web site which listed LNA1 and LNA2, which was someting like Line noise and to set the gain....not to sure if this would help my situation. anyone else have any other info?
