Possible to remove carrier banner on TCC Q285?

Anyone know if its possible to remove the carrier banner on the screen of the TCC Q285? Mine shows WWC (I'm in Voicestream) ... Not sure what WWC means, but I would like to take it off the screen if possible.
HELP if you can
