Hi all...
I am thinking of upgrading from my 8100 to a 7300. Anyone have any stories about the 7300. Worth the money?

I had given opinion on another thread, however, it is typical sanyo, so its a great phone--to me it is not as atttractive as the 5500, and due to the *padding* feels a lot larger.

If you are getting a discount from sprint or whoever, price really makes no difference, if not the 5500's are now available thru ebay cheaper than the 7300---and if you don't want a camera, the prices for the 5400 are out of sight---but the 5400 has no sms-but phonewise, they are all great---you will need an extended battery (again ebay) for any of them, i believe.

Did you buy a phone yet?
I just got the 7300 and it is a great phone. Only complaint is the earpiece quality...it is DECENT, but not as good as others I have heard. Otherwise, the phone is perfect for my needs.

the 7300 looks tight but otherwise is a pretty straightforward phone. Readylink, SMS, Good reception, excellent build quality, above average menus and layout, like all sanyos the ringers that come with the phone suck, good speakerphone, good screen, etc.
Pretty much if you think you might like it you will. I do have to say that I agree with most people that the earpiece is strictly OK. Not as good as some, better than many tho

Which of these tiny phones does have the best earpiece--I have used the majority of the recent sprint "small" phones including sprint and samsung-they are all pretty well the same as far as I can tell- (earpiece wise)-I still have a moto analog bag which I use occ'y --as far as I am concerned it has the best ear piece--but it won't fit my shirt pocket too well---biggest problem with my sanyo 5500 is that if I have the volumn too loud it hurts my ear--ie, no big problem, except for the cdma chipping stuff.

What is the deal with Sprint PCS store wanting $30 for a hard plastic holster for the Sanyo 7300. Does anyone else have this any cheaper???

I'm reading the discussion and I see a hard plastic case that Radio Shack sells and one on Ebay but neither specifically mention about the 7300 fitting .

The leather cases look silly.. I just want a hard plastic holster.
Where is Sprint getting them from? It's not even on the Sanyo website.
