hey people i need one of yall to tell me before i set my mind on a Q285... since i have been hearing older versions have problems i would like to know the version that Adam (Lvwireless) is selling... if any of yall bought one from Adam, please check your box to see if there is a blue sticker on it, or the keypad light is blue, or software version is 0530...having any of those signs will tell if you have an older or newer software..please reply ASAP as Adam is getting his shipment on monday and i am planning to get one then....thanks yall

just wondering..........u said blue LED keypad? i always thought that Q285 uses green led for keypad........

or did they just changed it.....when they upgrade the fireware?

I bought one from someone on Ebay, it has green LED's keypad - I have no idea what version the sw is- if you tell me how to check I'll be happy to tell you.

Overall the phone is good- It just feels so cheap- like a toy, that's my only complaint (that and the software & manual are in chinese! which I can't read)

The phone is pretty cool however.. I think you'll like it.

TIPS: For graphics, they have to be .jpg's at 120x127, and less than 2.9k in size... Use photoshop save for web, and click the little arrow near the quality setting, and optimize for size (DO NOT CHECK THE OPTIMIZE BOX, THEY WILL BE BLACK THEN), and optimize for 2.9k -- works everytime.

BTW: if you find mmf ringtones - LET ME KNOW, or figure out how to convert 16 channel midi's to 4 chan .mmf files that sound right, let me know too!

i dont know nothing about this phone till recently....my friend told me about it...as for the news of the phone (firmware, color etc..) i have no idea....just information that my friend gave me from Taiwan....but oh well...i already bought the phone from Adam and it will arrived tomorrow morning...i will see and give you guys a holla back...

p.s. reason i didnt ask Adam is because Adam dont know either...
