Just got a Treo 600 and have a couple of questions as I am new to the Palm OS:

1. I have service through Sprint and was wondering how I can use the Treo as a modem for my laptop....sorry if this has been discussed before....
2. MP3 players? Any recommendations?
3. Out of all of the preloaded programs on the unit...which one can you safely get rid of? Dont really care about the splash programs, etc
4. SD card? How do you load programs on the card or can you at all.....ringtones, mp3's, etc

1. Assuming you have a Windows computer, you want PDANet. You can find it here: http://www.junefabrics.com/palmnet/index.php

2. It actually comes with Pocket Tunes. When you register the Treo, you'll get e-mailed a link to download the basic version for free.

3. The only ones you should be careful about are the ones in Mail and System. Although you can get rid of the Splash ones.

4. If you're using the built in launcher, all you have to do is highlight the icon of the app you want to move, the hit menu -> send, and select to send it to the card.
