I have looked throught the AT&T informations sheet and find that the S46 has "infrared" listed....does this mean that it can act as an IR modem?

Thanks.

could you post details on how you connect your ipac and your laptop. are you using att? what kind of speeds does ir transer data at? i have a laptop as well as a handspring visor and if i can connect them, i may be interested in the s46. really like the bluetooth option of the ericcson t68, but think i'll need the tdma capabilities of the s46. i'm in the central valley, california and it's just now rolling out here. thanks for the help.
