I would like to ask if anybody knows where I can upgrade my Inno90's firmware? because somehow, there are many problems with it.. I mean... if there's any .. pls inform me.. thanks everybody .

do you have the chinese or american version. as of now i dont think there are any. there was a similar post about this a while back...

There probably isn't and there probably won't be either. Now that the Inno 99 is available in HK, people see that there really is no point for a new firmware upgrade for the Inno 90

but they are the same phone, internally, so the firmware are probably interchangable.

Really?!? So basically they just tried to "improve" the looks? By "improve" I mean, tried but failed to =/ So both phones have pretty much the same firmware on them? Like they didn't even bother to fix any of the bugs reported and other things?

well, I don't know if the firmwares are the same when the phones are sold, but I am pretty sure the two phones are the same (I like the 99's looks better btw).

So what I was saying was, if any firmware they release for the 99 should work on the 90 also, so you shouldn't worry about the 90 not getting support, etc.

Though they are coming out with a 850 Inno 99 soon (I WANT IT!). =) Who knows about that firmware.

im kinda newbie to innostream...how do u check firmware for inno90?

Posted by: miffybb

mine is the american version.
bought in toronto... and no chinese and everything, i think I got the buggy firmware because it's the first batch of Inno90s

A friend got the English model and he returned it right away. It only froze once but he wasn't going to stick around to find out how long it would take till an OS crash. You should just goto a Chinese store and get one. Its shouldn't be a problem (Unless you can't speak Chinese, or know anyone who does).

I bought mine about a week ago but it still has buggy software =/ I think it's like that on all/most Inno's, not just first batch.

Lucky guy, oh well, the problems I've found really aren't that big of problems. Dang, today I did the stupidest thing. I had my phonebook entries all grouped and wanted to see if Rogers had more reception on C332 than on Inno 90, so i took out my fido sim and put in rogers. When i put back my fido sim in, the contacts were all ungrouped again

my firmware seems alright i just got it a few days ago havent had any problems though but im sorta dissapointed bout the java thing

Posted by: tw_1_n_star

Well, no java is one downside to this phone. I used to care so much about this but I haven't put much thought into that issue since I got phone because I'm still occupied with playing with all the other functions since this phone got so much haha

Posted by: bluboi

i wonder if they can make a firmware upgrade so the phone can suppor java

Posted by: tw_1_n_star

Isn't java support a hardware thing and not firmware?
