New software for European users of Inno 90

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi - I was at CeBit in Hanover/Germany this weekend and at the Innostream booth they offered to install a new software for free. This took less then 10 minutes and now I have menu and T9 for most European languages (incl. German) on my phone. The menu icons are different and the software seems to be bug-free as I have not encountered a single problem yet. The software can only be installed with a special data cable that should be available in the upcoming months. So if you are at CeBit and own an inno go to hall 26

want to show us some screenshots ?

please tell us about any other changes you spot (like any using custom rings as alarm?).

OK - I will try my best to post some screenshots, but I go on holiday soon, so I am not sure it will work. I do not think that there are other improvements. By the way, the MFlash and video folders are empty now. There is no sample video included.

Does it include Danish?

Yes it does include Danish

Cool...

Thanks man!!

Too bad that 1) I don't yet have the phone and 2) I'm not in Hanover at CeBit.

Is it possible to flash it yourself?

Posted by: Funmap

you need the data cable, which is not the normal data cable you use to upload pictures and ringtones!

That wouldn't be really worth it then =( Buying a cable just to flash a phone

According to the representatives at CeBit there will be service centers all over Europe in a few months - so you should be able to let them do it for you, but this might be wishful thinking

I have to admit that the menu icons are the same - it was a mistake to say that they have changed. Just the intro animation is new. It is only worth to upgrade if you have a buggy software and if you need another language!

sheesh, im all the way on the other side of the world. if that data cable is coming out soon i'll be happy if it can transfer videos and gif files and not only flashing capabilities.

Posted by: Funmap

the data cable you can buy can transfer wallpaper, ring tones and has a mp3 converter, but you can not transfer the videos

I think that ataq meant that he'd buy it if the flashing cable could do both things (upload stuff and flash) Maybe I should get one and charge people a service fee =P

Thats actually not a bad idea, twin. Let me in on that idea of urs.

Then we can open up our own SERVICE CENTER.

I'll be like BongoWireless from the hofo marketplace except all I'll be doing is flashing Inno 90's lol. Not very profitable though =/
