Hey guys,

I noted that many people have posted questions about the battery. Rather than just trust the manufacture, what do people actually get in real life compared to the rated standby / talk time values? My manual in Chinese says you need 4 hours for the inital charge.

For my slim battery I charged it until it said 100% and the screen went black. But for the extended battery, now I am trying to over charge it to the 4+ hours the manual recommends. I never needed to wait 4 hours to reach full charge (On display anyways), but for the extended battery I am just waiting the 4+ hours for the sake of it. But I have no idea if this is really needed, or if stopping the charge after 100% is displayed hurts the life.

While there is occasional opening and usage (Non-talking) I can safely say so far:

1. Slim battery gives about 2 to 3 days (Provided you turn it off at night)

2. Extended battery I have yet to finish charging and testing.

What values are other people getting? Both stand by and Talk time (If you talk enough to actualy use the whole battery in one sitting)? I know for sure though if you get a standby time of 1 day or less without using the phone your battery is defective or expired.

I get about a day out of each of them but then again I believe I was sent used batteries

they all depend how much u talk...

i use my phone a lot all the time.

one full day with a fully charged slim battery, two with the extended.

i'm come from the pda world, some i'm use to nightly charging, i also use gprs a lot, so i get about a day.

I get about a day with the slim, maybe 2 if i'm not using it very much. The extended will last 2-3 days for me.

So far after a day of use, I had 75% of battery left with NO use (I'm so surprised I didn't even touch my phone that day at school, guess it was because of first day back from March Break). Anyways, I also can put a "camera standby" mode when draining battery and it takes about 6-8 hours before it fully drains. This is for the slim battery. The thick battery I haven't tested out yet.

depends....I noticed that when u have the .gif animation as a wallpaper it drains more battery.

Slim Battery lasts 1 full day, while the Extended one lasts 2 days the most.

I don't know if the wallpaper really matters because after backlight turns off, it seems that the external screen turns off too until you push the side button.

only when you have one on the internal screen and you let it sit open. The outer screen turns off too quick. The fiber optic lights drain alot, especially if your constantly checking the time on the outer screen

They sure do, haha, and i like turning them on sometimes just for fun while i'm sitting around

Yep, haha i do like it. First time i turned the phone on, then shut the flip i was like "whoa..." as it cycled thru the colours It catches alot of attention

exactly, that ring of light is off the hook. imo thats what makes the inno 90 nicer looking thatn the other inno's

Haha, I've had the phone for about a week and a half now and I'm still obsessed with seeing that light when I check the time. Looks so cool in the dark when the lights are off in the classroom and everyone is copying notes off the projector. Everyone around just stops writing then stares at the ring, like they were amazed or something haha
