anyone know why it always says Authentication Failed when I try to receive e-mail through the phone??

You may not have the right email settings set. Check those before trying to send another email.

well the phone CAN send emails, but it just won't receive. When I try to connect to receive, then it gives me the authentication error.

either your server uses different passwords for receive/send or you have the incoming server set wrong.
