Well, I was thinking, and I remembered that the free WAP trick is in the programming of the phone (they changed it on the new ones). So if you flash it, does the Verizon firmware have it so you can add a URL and go to it and press the call button and go to the WAP address? Could a Verizon Slider user help me on this one? Becuase without free WAP, there is no point in flashing it if you plan to use VM after you flash it, because to download games and such, you need WAP access.

I have heard VZN is blocking free WAP now. Is this correct? If not how do you get free WAP on the VZN slider?

my thoughts on it was that after u flashed ur virgin phone to verizon but never signed up with verizon that the web would not be blocked bc verizon would never see what kind of plan u have so they wouldnt know what to block and what not to block

Exactly! U can download and still have free WAP access. Ive said this a million times in my 'official flashing' thread that was bacically a flop...the only catch is that if vzw goes about WAP access differently(how do u kno they dont any way?) than u jus access it another way. Check out my thread, everything is in there as far as flashing.
