well i bought the kyocera se47 from verizon yesterday. It is such a cute phone which was probably the main reason why i bought it. Anways does the phone seem a little laggy to anyone ? Is this normal or should i exchange it ?

the phone is real laggy when it comes to texting

wtf does laggy mean? if that is your call set-up time is taking a long time, that is not due to the phone, but rather the network. Or do you mean the processor is slow when inputing things? That is probably normal if that's the case.

you don't know what laggy means? Do you know what it is to lag behind, it means be pretty much be slow which is what the phone is. When entering text, the phone lags and gets behind and only catches up once you've stopped typing

yeah, seems to be normal on a few of the verizon phones.. when going through menu's and stuff too.. you just have to Slow Down

I know what lag means by definition. I have never once heard it used in conjunction with describing a mobile phone. Is that new terminology or localized terminology used to describe the phone inputing speed?

lol man eighter way lag means slow

Yeah. My slide is really laggy too. Sometimes, when i exit out of a text message or tetris or whatever... the background doesnt even show up at all. It has frozen up on me a few times, but that was simply resolved by removing the battery.

I've noticed it as well, it can be kind of annoying when you're getting a text, to slide up the phone press "ok", and have the phone say "slide up for operation", I hope there is a software upgrade for it available soon

i didnt know what people meant by lagging too, thats not the common use of the word, its commonly used to describe the latency of an internet connection, not the physical speed of a process

wow. no need to get technical.

Laggy means slow! by any twist of the definition.

A car can be lagging (when you have a leak or something) ...

A cell can be laggy (slow during text messaging etc...)

A computer can be laggy (when you go from a 2.5 ghz to a 900 mhz)

basically... its slow. thats all.
