7300 has been confirmed to arrive no later than 5/16. 8200 SHOULD be there at the same time.

Excitingly, we already have the Body Glove 8200 case in our systems (as with the generic Cell Star one). Both in-stock on 5/16.

Sneak, do you know if there are any Body Glove cases for the Sanyo VM4500 yet?

Not that I've seen. I looked for them on eBay for my Supervisor, and found none. I'll double check which ones we will carry on Saturday.

Thanks for the update, sneak - it's good to know that BestBuy will be carrying the 8200 so relatively soon with respect to its release date.

I qualify for the 150.00 rebate in May, and since my phone is still under warranty AND failed the battery test, I can technically "turn it in" at anytime, but I'm going to wait until May.

Does BestBuy do the 150.00 rebate thing, or is that limited to the Sprint Stores?

when i talked to someone at a sprint selling store, he said the 8200s were due out next month (april) and can no longer order new 8100s.

We do the rebates instantly (or MIR in upgrade program).

Also, they are B.S.ing you regarding the 8100. It's still available. Call his bluff and ask for a supervisor.

Hey, i have seen pics of the 8200, and am anxiously awaiting it's release. However, i though that it would be good to get an idea on how it will work by asking people how their 8100's worked. I have a 4700 (very old nowadays) but we still love it, but clamshells are different. Also i know that the 8100 has been the flogship, but i would sitll love to hear from some one who had it, so without further adew, how was it?

Rumor has it (from a Sprint employee) that BBY will have the Red, Blue, and Silver models of the 8200.
