has anyone figured out how to do the auto filing on the sanyo vm5500?

...i stiiiilll don't know how. i put auto filing on...i put in a keyword...but still nothing every goes in the folder i've made...anyone know?

does anyone know how to use the auto filing feature on the vm4500?

After you create a new folder, type in a keyword that would always be contained in the message you want to auto-file in that folder. It has to be a word that is contained in the body of the message. If you use the phone number of the source of the message, it will not file. It has to be something from the text portion.

thanx! it works, im using it for the aol aim notifications...now i can delete them all at once without deleting my regular texts

That's a good idea, I just used "New IM" for the keyword and it filtered correctly.

366, we're using web based AIM. You can access it from your vision homepage>messaging>AOL Instant Messenger.

Yeah, I did the same for those stupid IM notifications. I hope Sprint can find a better way to integrate AIM into their phones. I hear that Verizon does an awesome job at it.
