Hello guys, do u guys think the price of gx32 will drop pretty soon? I don't want the same thing happen to my gx22. I wait till last Dec. to buy it for $550 USD but the price drop down to $500 on Jan. when there is a rumor about gx30....

I mean is it worth for waiting? I was so regret that I didn't purchase the gx22 earlier..waited three months and still paying for the same price make me so dumb.

Do you guys think same thing will happened to GX32? Even though there will be more mega pixel phone coming during summer, but I doubted there screen and picture quality

Or the worst thing may like the SE p900 the price went up after it release for a month

Please guys I really needed some advice. Thank you.

If you want the maximum wow-factor... having it before everyone else then you've got to get it while it's hot... and while the price is sky high. Sure, within a few months the price will have dropped - perhaps not massively, but a bit... as time goes on and more people get it, or as better phones come out the price will fall - but so will your desire to have it.

If you can afford it now, and you want to be exclusive, then get it soon... if you're not bothered then don't. Probably getting it a coupl'a months after it comes out'll give you the best balance between exclusivity and price.

Cheers

Since there aren't many 1.3Mp camera phones, the price of GX32 is gonna stay high for a while. Once other brands are bringing out 1.3Mp camera phones, the price for GX32 will drop in order to stay competitive. The educated guess for price drop is after this summer, or even later.

wow, that's going to take quite a while =/

I would take the plunge now to be honest.

I have had GX10, 20 & now 30. In my experience, these models do not depreciate massively inside their first year of release (well in the UK anyway).

Now that the GX30 is out, the price of the GX20 will fall as they feed it into the mainstreem at a lower price, GX30 will remain high for at least 6 months in my opinion.

Just think, GX20 1 year old, Still £350 - £400 sim free, new, now.

theres a guy on ebay now selling these new and sim free for under $400 USD - i dont know who he is and he has little feedback (11 i think)

claims he has 6 of them...

i have no idea who this guy is - and i have never bought from him - but if youre willing to take a risk...

It looks 100% fraud. Just take a note that for now it is impossible to buy Sharp GX32 for under US$600. Market price ranging from US$680-750. So watch out!!

Do not trust ebay. Especially if the deal sounds too good to be true. 11 is considered way too little feedback on ebay. I bet he probably bought/sold $2 items just so he could scam people of a few hundred/thousand bucks.

eBay member x1387 price drop to $699 if anyone is interested. But with $40 shipping it's still pricey.

right after i bought mine from him last night for $718

Posted by: tw_1_n_star

Is that in USD????

Posted by: celladdict2001

Thank you for all of your opinions, but I think x1387 is not reliable I know it has +8000 feedbacks but my firend said they took out some of the accse. from the original boxset. Like my friend purchase the gx22 from it but with the handsfree was missed. I think no-air-time is more reliable. But the thing is it only came out last week do you guys think those people selling it massively on ebay will actually have the product in stock?

They may, they may not. Some scammers take advantage of the new release of the phone as it is a hot item in the market. So it's a risk trying to buy one from there.
