can u watch videos on the gx-32? like i have a 512 mb sd card but i need to know if i can watch like some video clips. thanks! also is there a limit as to what size sd card it takes? thank u. also if any of u have tried it whats the quality like?

this is only for the gx30!!!

in the manual it says it can recognize 2GB cards!
in reality: it's confirmed that 512MB sd/mmc cards work! also a 1GB MMC card works for one guy!

yes, u can watch video clips! but they must be in the format *.g3p or sth. like this! and the max limit for video filesize is 400KB!!!

i hope this restriction is not in the gx32...

so does that mean u cant convert a 200mb avi video to watch on the gx30??

Thats right, you can slot a 512mb SD card into the phone, but can only play a <400kb file. Wheres the logic in that?

Lol, typical vodafone logic I guess

Of course you can play videos on your GX32!

Question is if you are receiving video streams from your operator that it is limited to 400KB.

However if you are playing videos directly from your SD/MMC card (i.e. = Gallery --> Video Gallery --> Memory Card) then you are not capped at this limit.

Having said that your videos must be either .3GP or MPEG-4 format.

So on the GX30 video file size is limited, but on the GX32 they are not. Anyone know how i can hack into my phone and remove the restriction. Is there such a thing as a sharp SDK that i could use on the phone?

you can use "nokia Multimedia player" to convert files to 3gp. Do a search and you will find it.

I'm assuming you've actually watched longer videos on your GX32.
