6200 anger!

Both Sano and Sprint are jerking me around when it comes to ringers and more on the 6200. It took me 11 calls to customer service to get sprint to admit that the service doesn't work with the current software version, and Sanyo support refuses to reply to my emails. Not that I really need the service, if I did, I would just buy the cables.

It pisses me off that both Sanyo and Sprint are still marketing the phone under the premise that it will download the ringers.

On the other hand, using the code ##040793/menu/save #, I am able to connect at 144 kbps. That is a good thing. Now to find someone who has a cable in stock.

by the way, that image is from sanyo's home page for the 6200. Misleading, no?

what exactly does entering that code do? i only knew of the time hack for this phone.

that code gets you to the DEBUG menu where amongst other things you can see your phones RF signal strength and if you have amenu labeled '1X rate set' you can set your phone to receive at up to 144kbs on the data side
