You're not the only one with the problem. Nobody really knows what the problem is but people think that the english version of the phone isn't compatible with the chinese PC Sync cables. But somehow mine works ONCE IN A WHILE =/

Really? That's sad. Is there any other way for me to download the mp3's without using PC Sync?

You can try cropping and converting the MP3 file with the PC Sync program first. Then upload the .mmf files on to a site and then through wap upload them to your phone. This will cost you quite a bit if you don't have a plan or anything because each MP3 file would be around 200kb or a bit less.

Also, some service providers have wap restrictions and you can download only a maximum of 20kb per file or something like that.

tulip, i'll try to help as much as possible...

i have the pc sync, the import version, and a us inno 90. they are compatible unless the cable purchased is a bunk one...
-make sure you are running nothing lower than windows 98se, best bet is to upgrade to windows xp

-when you plug the cable into the phone you should hear a door shutting sound. click the connect button on the upper right and it should indicate if the connection was succesful. a brief "phone is busy" dialog box should come on at this time

-for pics, its best to use some type of photo editting program like photoshop and size the pics to phone before transfering, the extension has to be in .jpg format. main lcd is 128 x 160. the sub lcd is 96 x 64

-for ringers, make sure they are in mp3 format so you dont have to worry about formatting it later. you can download the wma to mp3 converter for free by doing a google.com search. to translate the section desired for your ringtone, right click on the beginning point then left click and drag until you reach >200kb (about 20 seconds). the section you chose should then hae the extension .mmf, thats the only ringer extension transferable.

hope this helps you

Thanks everyone so much for trying to help me. This is my first camara phone so I'm trying to figure out how to do certain things. But you guys seem to be pros at these things. Ataq, I will try you suggestions and let you know how it goes tomorrow.

Thanks again!

How do you recieve email? I already set up my incoming server, not outgoing with POP3 account but this shouldn't matter right since I'm only receiving right? Because whenever I try sending files as attachment, I end up receiving it as an SMS with no attachment

i can't help you, both my sbcyahoo/other account work fine.

Hmm, now I've signed up for POP3 thing and set it up how people in Fido forums have told me to. Still seems to be getting emails and attachments as SMS files with no attachments at all. That's weird =/
