you cant... you have to reformat them on your computer.

i think any siemens phone that has a recorder can allow you to use it as a ringtone or an alert message
i just played a ring tone on my comp. and recorded it by just putting the phone close to my speakers... it worked perfectly... but im sure there is a better way to do it

Recording is no problem, but how do you set it as ringtone? I tried to do that with my SL55, but I didn't get it to work...

Anyone know how to do that?

i just recorded it, saved it, and went to options and "set as ringtone for..." and picked my profile

Ah... thanks. I tried to browse to it from the ringtone menu, but that didn't work. I'll try this way.

the recordable ring tone feature is the only reason why i purchased a siemens cause it is cheap... i'm going to go look for a samsung, cause siemens is just bugging me these days, with their most of their slow features
