For Wifi, you're best served with a PocketPC. Only one Palm has it built-in (that I'm aware of... has Sony integrated it into a CLIE yet?). You could add WiFi to a Palm with an SDIO WiFi card, but that's more $$ and not the easiest things to find.

Bluetooth is a toss-up. They both have BT on several models, up to you which implementation you prefer.

Video and speed... PPC's have historically had the multimedia edge. Faster processors, better video support in the OS. Now however, Palms and PocketPCs run on very similar hardware. Palm's OS has always been small and efficient, thus not requiring the horsepower. PPC is a typical Microsoft-ism; big, fat, and bloated, but pretty (well, in the eye of the beholder) and really needed fast processors to keep it responsive. If you put a 400mhz Xscale Palm beside and 400 mhz Xcale PPC, I think you'd find the Palm more responsive because of the less glitzy OS. Video performance depends on the codec and application you're using. I think the PPC supports more standard video formats directly without having to convert to a Palm-readable format.

Best Apps? I'd say Palm. There's just so much more to choose from.

Devices? I'd say the Tapwave Zodiac is the best non-Phone Palm around right now. Massive screen, two SD slots, Bluetooth, video acceleration hardware (since it is a game platform as well).

Tungsten C is a Wi-Fi device too, as is the Clie. But if ur willing to spend then the iPaq 4155 is the best of the lot. In the form factor of the 1900 series, it has both WiFi and BT and good integrated multimedia apps too.
