Can't download ringtones and such over the air...

When I first got my phone I purchased some wallpapers and they downloaded over the air fine. However I went to purchase a ringtone and wallpaper today, and when I click the button on the idenupdate site to send it to my phone, it gives me an error even though my phone is on. I think my phone is an add-on to a team share plan.

Do you have the IP icon on your screen? If not, you can not download over the air.

Ya, you must have some sort of data package for it to work. When you first got you phone it comes with over the air provisioning for 20 days. It probrably just expired. Just look throught the forum under softwared and get the free loader for your phone. Its alot better, free: games, ringtones, and wallpaper.

Thanks for the prompt replies. I guess it's safe to assume I'll need a data cable to connect the computer to the Nextel for the loader to work? I will look into this loader stuff.

FYI -
you can call customer care and tell them you want Two-Way Express -it is Free, only costs if you use it, 10 cents for each message sent or received. You should already have that if you are on the team share plan -
that will give you the IP back and the availability to do any over the air products. Just some Nextel tidbits.
