Hi, I'm looking for information on how to to create and upload your own ringtones and wallpaper from a Mac powerbook onto a Nextel i730. Anyone have info on this?

with OS9 I have done it using virtualpc running windows 2k with a serial cable.

I would think OSX would work the same way but have not tried it... Would like to hear back from you as I know mac users frequent the board.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to find a better alternative. I don't have or want virtual pc. (If I wanted to run windows in any flavor, I'd have bought a pc, I'm a Mac person ALL THE WAY!)

Are you aware of anything else, any other resources for nextel users wanting to upload ringtones and wallpaper? Nextel offers such limited content and NO support for Macs. I only reupped with them because the phone number portability hasn't arrived where I live and my old phone was broken.
