New firmaware R4BO3 is available now for P900. I have'nt upgraded yet, but it is available for my organizer version 162003/6.

sweet i got it updated. now they actually got released notes for it. to me it seems the thumbnails are much bigger now. but some of it are still blurry. i guess my jpegs are not that readable yet huh.

Enhanced handling of accessories (HBH 200 CLI support).
Improved visualization of the stand by clock (The Clock screen saver digit has been enlarged).
Corrected "find" functionality in e-mail application (The find function did not work in earlier releases).

Improvements in Bluetooth, for example better interworking with Bluetooth headsets, dialup and stability improvements.
Improvements in Audio and Video streaming.
Java MIDP2 improvements.
Improved tuning of colors of pictures taken by the camera.
Miscellaneous minor improvements.

P900 Maintenance Release 3 (MR3)
Further improvements in Bluetooth performance related to Bluetooth headsets.
Support for OMA Download added.
Trust settings for common CA certificates fixed to work also for internet browsing.
SW Install - Fixed MIDP OTA Installation failure due to truncated User Agent Header.
Play random files in MP3 player - correct file played and random is more random.
Corrected missing filename when ID3 tag is not present in music file.

Corrections to a fault in the MR3 SW related to download of Java applications using JAD files.

when I first got my p900 and upgraded there were no problems...this time I also get this "communication device error" when there is 8mins left...tried 3 times, reinstalled etc and still does not work. The phone says its on R4B03 now, so i guess i'll leave it.

when are they going to fix the bluetooth firmware? there are lots of bugs with headsets, there's no support for handsfree mode, and it hangs the phone sometimes.

When I put in my CDA (162004/28) I get that the latest version is R3A06 . If I want to I can put in another CDA (like CDA162003/3), I get R4B03. Do you think it's safe to simply put in a different CDA and go through with the update? or will that simply result in some kind of error?

I was simply asking if it was safe. I would think that someone would've tried it before, and if they had no problems then I think that it would be safe to go through with. Since I just backed-up my P900, I don't really think there is much risk involved.

I'd just rather always have the latest firmware.

anyone else catch it says to support CLI on the HBH-200 headset? Anyone have an HBH-200 and want to give it a whirl?

Well I havn't noticed anything too different or better but the screen seems brighter and the clock is easier on the eye. The camcorder even looks a bit better for some reason. Now why can't we look at images Flip-closed? Also I want to use the thumbwheel ALL the time when I have a sidebar.

Gonna check out bluetooth some more to find any difference, leaving it on all the time!

Ditto that. I get Caller ID info, but still can't get the caller list to work on the HBH-200.

T9 is improved for the better for sure.

As for video settings, there are topics here that help. Just don't expect anything like DVD quality. I think the next Pxxx will have much improved video playback especially from the camcorder which is just soo poor! Check out the SE S700 site for an idea what is coming.

CLI = Caller Line Identity.

basically it means it shows the caller on the lcd of the hbh-200

Well BT still plays up after this latest build.

I often have to reset my P900 to get it to talk and even then sometimes it fails. Guess SE still ain't got used to Symbian or UIQ, let's hope the Pxxxx will be better!

Hi all

Been having difficulties getting on the net from my P900 ever since i upgraded the firmware in Jan/Feb time. Spoken with O2 data service many times to manually reset all the GPRS settings and still doesnt work. They say it might be a problem with either the SIm card or the handset itself. They are sending me a new sim card to try. I havent told thenm about the firmware upgrade afraid of my warranty being void.

My current set up is:

Phone CX162022 R3C006
Bluetooth CXC 12529 R5D
Orgainser CXC 162021 R2B02
CDA - CDA 162003/5 R2C01

My questions are: should I upgrade the phone with latest firmware or wait till i get the internet connection sorted. And HAs anybody else had this problem after their upgrade.

The error message 'Activation Rejected' appears everytime i click on the browser.
