Just wanted to post a few photos of my SX-1. I'm quite pleased with it thus far. For those of you that have seen my user name in the Nokia threads, I had been waiting to buy the 6230 for quite some time. But, being the impatient person that I am, I gave up on the release date and bought the SX-1 instead. I plan to give a review shortly but wanted to post some pics as I don't think there are any as of yet. So here we go:

Can you take some shots of the side profile? I want to see how thick that phone is in comparison to the other phones.

Do you think you can take some pictures WITH the phone so we can see quality of camera?

PS: The SX1 was a good move, nice than the 6230 anyway LOL

I'll try to get some photos posted this week of both the side view and images taken with the camera. The indoor shots are ok, but I'm wanting to test it outside on a sunny day. As with all digital cameras, the more light the better.

New Beetle, Yea, I got tired of waiting. I really liked the SX-1 for a while but was unsure of the keyboard, but it's not bad. Plus the Symbian apps is a bonus over Java. The 6230 still looks to be a great phone, but I have to admit that the bigger screen is really nice and going from a Samsung S105 screen (which is larger than 6230) I thought I may not be as happy.

Ok, here's the link to my Home page. This will include the previous photos as well as the new. These are in a smaller format so I hope the download will be faster for those of you without broadband

The first set are with my T39 (sorry, my Wife has the S105 tonight so no comparison to that). If you'd like to see the SX-1 with the S105 then let me know.

The last 3 photos are taken with the camera. I think as far as the picture, in all 3 formats it's quite good. I mean, we're not talking about a 3 Megapixel camera! They were taken indoor's of my desk. Like I stated in a earlier post, I'm still waiting to get some photos on a sunny, clear day. I think the images will be much crispier. I hope you like them and if you'd like more at a different angle or screen shot then let me know.

Pretty nice pics there

But how come the contrast seems to be a bit umm how do you say it. The picture looks really really bright, well actually its probably because you took a picture with the monitor on or something.

Do you mean the pictures taken with the phone? If you do, I believe I had the room light on so it wasn't just my desk lamp.
