Hi everyone:

I just got my SCP-6000 and the accessory guide says the Desktop Charger ($79.99on the sprint site) has a data cable for syncronizing with your pc via the data cable (included). The PCS Wireless Web Conneciton Kit ($59.99on the sprint site) says it personalizes your Sprint PCS phone by downloading yor favorite pictures and ringers.

Since I don't care if I can use my phone as a modem, but would like to personalize it with pictures and ringers and have a desktop charger, couldn't I just buy the Desktop Charger and load pictures and ringers through that?

Oh, and could Sprint's customer service be any more frustrating?

You can download the ringers and pics with the data cable you have but the software does not come with the data cable kit or the charger, so your only chance to download stuff is with the software that skiboard posted on this forum. I am using it now after getting the cable kit. Which by the way was supposed to come with the software but was packaged wrong by the warehouse in kentucky.
