Hi,

Have had my P900 for a while and been redaing this forum to get things done. Great ressource.

Purchased a USB BT dingle to synchronize my P900 with my laptop. Won't do it. I can pair them and send pics and have managed also to send the adress book, but no sync...

Is it possible? Am I missing a seting somewhere?

Thanks for assistance.

got it working now. finally.
The D-Link USB dingle is not that stable and might need a restart from time to time.

Hello,

I finally got mine to link up. I would like to ask is there a easy way to sync the phone? right now if I want to sync it via bluetooth, I have to play around with check and unchecking the com port in the phone connection link program.

I thought the easiest way was to get the PC to look for the phone automatically and open the port. After that you should see the P900 in the system tray, when in range.

Right click on it and get the "synchronize". Works for me but it is not 100% stable. I just updated my P900 to the last firmware and so far it has performed better (maybe just "butt feeling")

Hello,

How do you set the pc to automatically connect to the phone? I have a 3com BT card. It seems to see the phone yet no connection is made. I have to uncheck and check the com4 port for it to link.

If you have a firewall, like zonealarm, that could be a cause.

In the "phone connection link" make sure your BT port is ticked. That should be enough.

If you log out from Windows and then log in again, it resets the BT properly and you can retry. It should connect automatically, don't forget to open the "authorization" in your P900 BT settings.
