hi everyone, i've been browsing this forum for hours the past few days trying to figure out which phone to get, and end up just going to the store and playing with all of them...

i chose to get an inno89, which i liked the feel to better than the 90 and other phones i looked at...

i was wondering how come there are never any threads on that phone around here... they're pretty much the same except for the body right?

the difference is the design.. the Inno80 and Inno89. difference compared to the Inno90 .. is the camera quality is only 110k while on the Inno90/99 is 310k.
also, I think the firmware inside the phone is upgraded as well compared to the Inno80

The Inno 89's reception is much better than the 90, I dunno if it has anything to do with the firmware, maybe but I just know that my 89 can hold better signals in buildings than the 90.
Another thing I noticed is that the 89's speaker is louder that the 90 by a bit. The thing that bothers me is that they placed the speaker in the back...I think the mic is too close to the speaker so that you always get a high tone distortion/ringing sound when you set the phone on speaker phone.

Whoa, the Inno 89 is louder? IMO the Inno 90 is quite loud already =/ Way louder than all the phones I've had so far.

Well i think the custom ringtones(MP3 and Polyphonic) are kinda louder than than the 90...the 90 being loud enough already

wow... that's amazing.. but would the 89/99 suck more battery because it has a louder speaker?

Hmm, I'm currently trying the EGSM/DCS. Seems to get around 1 bar more wherever I am. But at home it still can't receive calls properly, still drops call or I can't hear other person or something. So bars don't really indicate anything because when I make a call with 1 bar sometimes (depending on area), I can hear the person perfectly and vise versa.

Are you sure thats not the blue version? Maybe it might be a navy blue or dark blue that innostream is using.
I haven't seen the blue one myself so I dunno.

I have no idea either but when I had my innostreams, I would just choice any of the ones with GSM/EGSM...
I tried GSM which was fair but I found that EGSM/PCS worked a little better in my area which is Toronto.

pcs is anything in the 1900MHZ range which is what tmobile uses
