can't get my web server to host wallpaper

well...

I was able to download a wallpaper from nextel, it was the free one...

I figured that I can do the same by using my own web server...

the link I used is http://www.bootycds.com/wap/

it points to http://www.bootycds.com/wap/test.gif

the i730 phone was able to read the wml code but as I try to enter the link, it says data too large... when I make it to like 1kb it said file unsupported

what am I doing wrong?

Is there a long answer? I just bought a data cable on ebay...

But it seems to me if nextel can do it, I should be able to figure it out. And if it's possible to get wallpaper to my phone (i730) from my own wap pages than I'd really rather know how to do that.

Here's what I've got so far:

And I am in fact getting the "data too large" error.

Hrm, actually I just bought a couple things to see if it was jar files or someing. It looks like nextel sends everything over IMEI ... That or the cable, in which case I'll be using that webjal software anyway.
