I'm sitting here grousing that I can't get solid color housings. I'd like to get a solid white housing and some black nav buttons... hopefully the eBay regulars will start selling solid-color housings soon!

i totally agree. I want a glossy white housing with a white or chrome keypad and wit battery. The same white as the ipod.

Im thinkin about just buying a translucnet one and painting it then putting a really good clear on it so that it doestn wear out. Also, i really want to try to make a spring loaded opening system.

Someone already did paint thiers and posted pics in another thread. How has it been working now that youve had it for a while? Has the paint worn off yet?

They have solid front faceplates for the slider on ebay.

Right, but we're looking for full housing. A black faceplate with the stock silver isn't what I'm looking for.
