ive got hey ya and gigolo on my site as mp3s.. you should be able to use them if you rename them to .midi or whatever

yea it still has to be under 30 seconds, and if ur mailing it it has to be under 30k i think im not sure, i was never able to mail a mp3(as a mid) to my phone...get the cable..you will be suprised how well worth it they are

The mp3 does not have to be under 30 seconds if you are transfering it to a 6000 via data cable.

Most of mine are 35-50 seconds, for no reason other than it is longer when people want to listen to them under My Media. It makes it a little more impressive

I generally encode them with the following settings: mono, 22.5khz, 16 bit, 48-64kbps. Frequencies below 140hz are removed, the volume is boosted 150% (+3.5218 dB) and the last 2-5 seconds are faded linearly.

The files generally come out be between 200k and 400k. I currently have 18 mp3s on my phone, with a total size of about 4.5 megs.
