HELP!! I can't decide..
Which one do you think is better.. I am using fido as a carrier.. I don't really care much for the cam, or bluetooth.. Which one should i get
thanks in advance.

Well, if you don't care about bluetooth or the camera, then those features would be a waste of money. But then again, the S300 is a bit more than the T616. It all depends. If you want a smaller and also flip phone, then get the S300. If you want a candy bar phone and don't care too much about size then get the T616. Both phones have pretty good reception but from what I hear, the T616 has better reception. I'm not sure if it's because of the 850 band that only Rogers can use or if it's just because of the phone.

i hear the 850 on rogers is amazing but i dono what it'll do for u on Fido...let us know what u decide on...

i like the T616

PS.
if fido has 900 mhz then get the T610 as it has 900/1800/1900

whereas the t616 is 850/1800/1900

I picked the s300.. but I am kinda regretting it now. Samsung is no good with fido, and the rf jumps around alot and the sound is not that good.. But the s300 is a great phone through, really small, stylish. But I would really want a t616 now.. It has camrea + bluetooth
But o well..

they don't use 900 in north america

For me, i would choose the SE T616 because it includes more features than the S300, and i can do more on the T616, like: customize the Wallpaper, Theme, and Ringtones.
i can also get those ringtones or pics from my friends' phone easily, and It's very convinence to upload or download things to the T616 by Infrared or Bluetooth.
My friend, a business guy, is using T616 on Fido, and i don't hear any problem with the RF on his phone yet.

Again, it's up to your preference to choose the right phone, those are just my opinion above!

how can t616's reception be better than s300? i compare my s300 with my cousin's t616 and my reception kills his.

i personally find that the current price the S300 is selling for doesn't justify its feature. It's just too expensive for its feature set. It's still selling for $300 to even $400 Cdn. at places.

Whereas the T616, with bluetooth, camera, big screen for much less than that ...

So I would personally go for the T616. But again, it's just my optinion =P

get a RED S200 and it will turn heads like nuts, the finish on it is like so classy and elegant and polished.

T616 is old and wont turn heads cuz so many ppl have them.

The reception of the T616 on Rogers is better than the S300 because Rogers has the 850 band that the T616 can use (the S300 can't use it). On Fido, though, both phones can only use the 1900 band, so if both you and your cousin are on Fido, perhaps that is why your reception is better.

nah, we're on the west coast.

btw, this is info for someone that posted above... s300 came out before t610/616
