Hi there! I am trying to figure out if you can use speakermode with the flip closed?? Does anyone know how?
Also, I just got it yesterday and they uploaded all of my phonebook entries into it from my old phone. I think it may be the source of this problem, in my phonebook menu, under groups, next to the "all" line, it has an upside down exclamation mark before the number of entries, which is inaccurate. Also, next to the "etc" line it says 3/4 and does not show the accurate number of entries.... HELP ME FIX THIS PLEASE! Or do I have to take it to a store? Please say no...

As far as we all know, speakerphone only works when open... if you're using a headset, and initiate a call , I believe the call will remain even if you close the handset (can't test this since I don't have a headset).

As for your phone book entries, how did you get your phone book transfered?

If verizon did it, you may have to go through each entry and make some corrections, otherwise, there may have been some other corruption during the transfer.

Personally, I have a data cable here, and have dl'd the pc_sync software from curitel to update the phonebook with.

Please note, some users have reported this software completely corrupting their phones, so use at your own risk.

My phone is screwed. I used that very software and now my phone won't boot. The software sync's downloads to the PC just fine, it's when you sync from the PC back to the phone.

Randy, first off, there's already a thread regarding this software. Similar topics in too many threads creates a big mess

Second, Not sure what's going on, but I used this software few days ago. Sent the phonebook pc-phone several times, with no issues.

No lockups, no crashes.

What exactly did you do, and at which point did your phone actually crash?

You didn't perhaps have bitpm running at the same time as this? Also, tell us what kind of data cable you were using.

I have a non charging usb data cable with the black box in the middle (basically usb-serial adapter, rather than a straight through usb cable.) Mine was originally marketed for a VX6000 phone..

I can't imagine why a cable would make a difference, the software is still sending out the same info that the drivers are converting....unless the drivers themselves are doing something to corrupt the data.

I'm using this driver, "Curitel_USB_driver-pc_usb4_18.zip"
