Hey guys,
I have the Virgin Mobile Kyocera SE47 [V5] Slider Phone. I have already gone through and manually added my contacts to the phone. One of the things I am noticing is that when someone who is on my contact list calls me, the ?/! Displays and display's the number. I would assume this is on Kyocera's end, but I don't see how that's possible, since I'm able to see the phone number, shouldn't the phone be picking it up that they're on my contact list?

In your phonebook, do you have a "1" in front of all your contacts numbers? If so that is the problem delete those "1"'s and you should have the name show up

Nope, no 1's... but the exception is that on local phone numbers, I do not have the area code, and when they call it displays that. Is there any way to not display the area code when callers are calling from the same area code?

Hmmm... why don't you try putting the area code in your phone book entries (10-digit format) to see if that helps... it may.

You need to put the area code in there also and make sure you dont put the 1 before that and you should be good to go.
