So i unlocked the phone following the correct steps and everything, And I think I have the right HOME SID #...( I live in the Seattle, Washington Area and the website with all of the SID's showed that mine was 00006. so when i called *22801 and press 1, it tells me that "activation can not happen at this time, please use a landline and call verizon"...So how do I get my VM slider activated?

First, you can verify the SID by checking your existing phone... the SID value should be in an info menu somewhere on it.

On *22801, try *22802 or *22803. *22801 for your area may by Sprint or something like that.

Oops, posted before I reread your message saying it was connected to Verizon.

Did you call Verizon and give them the ESN# of your phone? Don't know if it matters but, I did that before I attempted to program my phone.

or you can go to verizonwireless.com and do it after setting up an account.

Oops, I had assumed he had followed all the instructions and changed his ESN over. Of course *22801 isn't going to work in that case
