8600 - free wap works, however no pictures displayed

somehow free wap is working on my phone now...this happened while trying to get wallpapers to work..anyhow, i can surf sites but when there are wallpapers on some of the tagtag pages that i want to download which are not displayed. I only see a rectangle box with the text 'picture' in it...is this normal? if not, has anyone else experienced this and figured out how to rememdy it?

Its notmal if your a verizon customer. They still run an old verision of wap that only allows text

its not verizon, its your phone. The 8600 has wap 1.0 or 1.2 but definately doesn't have 2.0. If it had 2.0 then you could view wap sites like wap.howardofurms.com in full color

Its not just hte 8600 no verizon phone as of riht now has anytihng higher than wap 1.1 so in reality its all verizon phones wont; let yuo view imiages on mobile web
