I need some help choosing which one of these phones I should go with. I'm new to this site, and am trying to navigate through all the information, so if there is another place for me to look at pros and cons of these models and maybe some others on my list (Samsung X427, or Moto v400) please let me know.

I am using Cingular wireless service and would really perfer not to get a Camera phone.

The s307 is a good choice if you want a small basic phone. I have heard both good and bad things about the x426/x427, and the t720 is dated so I would vote for the v400 and s307

So you've narrowed it down to T720, S307, X427 or Moto v400.

Well, according to you, you would prefer NOT to have a camera phone, so the V400 is basically off the list. the v400 however, is a wonderful phone imo (like most of the new vxxx series motorla, quad band, vga cam, nice screen ...)

The T720 is a great phone imo, it is a bit dated, but it does everything a phone SHOULD do. Great reception, decent audio (in/out) quality ... and the best thing, it's cheap!

S307 (s300) was once my dream phone when it first came out. Dual colour screen, EXTREMELY small and thin (for a flip) ... Its price turned me off tho. At that time, it was around $400-$500 cdn, but now that diff carriers started carrying it, I believe the price is much cheaper.

I've never used/seen the x427, but from what i can see from the pictures, it looks beautiful, aside from the absent of an external screen. it has a 65k screen, java support. It seems like some of its states are similar to that of the S307, aside from the external screen metioned above, the size and the apperance.

It's a tough choice, if i were to choice, i would choose the v400. But since camera is a problem, i would try a s307 if price allows.

Yet, keep in mind that it is subjective as to what phone's the best for you. And it's really you that ultimately know what you really look for. =) Above is just purely MY opinion.

i would say go with the s307 because honestly, t720 really blows. i have friends that work for verizon and tmobile, and all they get is constant complaints about this and that for t720. moto have released so many different revisions and different batches, so you may get a good one, if you are lucky.
