hey guyz a noticed a very strange thing while i was browsing on my p900 i.e. one of my friend was trying to send a few sms while i was browsing on my p900 & he was just sitting next to me but i was nt able to recieve any of his sms ,only when i disconnected from the net those sms were recieved by me, has this happened to someone else too or is this how the phone works under those above mentioned circumstances.pls let me know guyz.thanx

when you're on GPRS, only when there's no data going through or you disconnect - can you receive phone calls and SMS messages.

You can improve this by setting the priority over to GSM (he is probably using the GPRS or Auto settings).

thanx for ur reply but where exactly can i do these settings in my cel pls reply soon as i have missed alot of calls everyday as i stay connected to msn to chat with my clients

Go To Control Panel and click on Internet Accounts!

i think it's control panel-connections-messaging accounts-SMS-edit-GSM instead of GPRS.
