How to get internet on phone

Ive been reading the forums for an hour or so. And I really didnt wanna do this, but what are the steps to getting on the internet with the phone and how to set the phone up. I just got it the other day, so I'm still a n00b to it. Been reading on here trying to get a straight forward answer on how to set it up, but nothing is saying THIS IS HOW TO DO IT.
Also with all this lingo going around like WAP and other stuf im so lost.
If anyone can help PLEASE do

The first three posts in this thread should contain/link to more than enough info for you.
In fact, with just the information in the third post on that page I had my 8900 working.
Keep in mind that sometimes gateways go down so you may have to try a couple of times to get it working. Don't be immediately discouraged if it doesn't work the first time you try it.

yea i was reading them but i was really misunderstanding it. But i just sat there and did it and its working, just dont wanna play to long or my minutes will be all gone. Thx for your help
