I've just stumbled on somthing you guys might like...
-go into your Media gallery
-go to Tones*

(*Dont click tones yet....**

**First you have to have more then one tone in there...like 3 downloaded)

-Really fast...and I mean really fast...hit "Ok" then "Down" or the "voice mail" button...its kinda easy to just slide your finger from "ok" to "down", then as quick as you did that hit "CLR" or "power" and it will take you to your wall paper screen..but it will be playing your full midi file...

You can hit "OK" "down" "down" and select your #3 tone...but you have to be really really fast

I think this is what happens...when you hit "OK","Down", and "CLR" really fast (it has to be before the "Downloads" page loads up) it get suck playing the song

**NOTE** Its alot easier to do this if your first downloaded ringer is a large file like 100k+ then your phone has to think and you have alot more time to select your tone to hear it...Also if you have to stop the song at any time...hit the volume button on the side of the phone and hit "CLR"

I assume your problem is that it keeps flashing back to the main screen after a few seconds before u get a chance to here your ringer.....

I have to complement you on creating an inventive solution... but its a little complicated.

Why dont you just hit the menu button while the file is playing, that way it wont return to the main screen and u can just hit clear then pick another file to play.....

ugh why dont u just press MENU when ur listening to your ringtones? that works on my 8900. it displays the menu: erase, erase all etc. and just leave it on that screen. it will continue to play the complete song

i just keep pressing 'right' on the directional keypad every 15 seconds or so to keep it running...

... funny post tho... lol
