Am I gonna have to go with out P900 for a whole month?

My P900 speakers were broken and now I have to send it to Sony Ericsson only service center in North Carolina to get it repaired. Expected wait is 2 to 4 wks from the time they receive it.

Is there any where to "rent" a P900 'til I get my P900 back?

I thought of buying a Treo 600 GSM just to try it out then return it after 15 days or so, but GSM Treo's are not that popular. I could not find them anywhere.

Any suggestions?
BTW I'm in Pheonix Arizona.

if you are lucky you will have it back in 3 to 4 weeks , but as usually they will give you back 3 to 4 months...... i hate sony ericsson service .......

as far as i know, they are a sony ericsson service center. however, since they are indirect, i dont know if they handle warranty repairs. they might be able to repair it for you at a cost. but it might be worth it to get the phone back much sooner...

I am in the same boat. I sent mine to SE on saturday, they still don't have it in their system yet. I'm going to stay on top of it and see if I can help push it along faster by calling for updates on a regular basis. I can't believe it takes them that long to do anything.

Any of you thought about renting a phone while SE phone is in repair. Is this option available any where? I only have one cell phone and that is my P900. I don't have any other cell phone or home phone.

i think you better go to rent one otherwise you will not have a cell to use in months ........

SE got rid of the old service center in TX that had a long turnaround time. The phones are now going somewhere else. Please let us know the actual turnaround time you experience with the new place in NC.

Mine was received by the NC depot yesterday. My issue was that vibrate stopped working (!). I've got a Samsung E105 and a Treo600 coming tomorrow or Monday as a backup.

I put a note in to ask them to flash the firmware to something newer as well, as I seem to be stuck with a CDA which does not have any permitted firmware updates. Let's seewhat happens.
