What's up all

I just noticed a problem with the new message icon on my slider. The problem is it stays on screen even when I don't have any new messages. Does anybody have this same problem? Is there a way to manually turn off this icon?

That's an odd one... my Slider is better at voice mail icon control than other phones I've had. Having said that, there have been times when my new message icon has stuck on forever (on other phones) and I had to call CS, who was able to clear out the problem... something about "ghost messages".
