I am going to buy a new phone and I am looking at going for the smartphone type. I really think I am going to wait for the Motorola MPX 300 or 220. Does anybody know what the main differneceds are?

I have tmobile and they said as long as they accept a sim card and run on the 1900 mhz network I can use them with Tmobile.

Thanks!

Wasn't the MPX300 the old name for the MPX? If that's the case, that thing will cost upwards of $1k. I like the MPX200 in general so the MPX220 is just going to be that much better.

well if the mpx isnt as good as the mpx220, why is it so much more expensive? exactly, it isnt better. its just more affordable. if you have money to blow, a mpx will definately be much better. you should compare them yourself to see what it is you want, but for functionality the mpx is better.

Thanks! Any idea of what the mpx 220 is slated to cost and what carriers are going to carry it? When is it to be available? I like the compact size of the 220 better than the 300 and hopefully the price will be better. 1k is a little to rich for my blood....

If you are one of those text people, MPx suits your need. Typing length emails and massive text messages on numerical keypad is really a pain in the ×××.

and, MPx is able to connect to WiFi hotspot that allows data transfer at 54Mb/sec, isn't it cool?

From what I read, Motorola isn't even releasing the MPx220, the photos on the internet were from a concept design for the phone, moto is keeping the 200 around for a little while longer.

That sucks to hear...but if you can do without BT or a digicam, I guess it's not all that bad as long as they release the WM2003 update.

I thought there is a camera for he Mpx 200 and WM2003 supports SD BT cards?? (the MPx200 actually has a SDIO port... although its not advertised..)
