well i got my MSL......and as i was scrolling through the advanced functions what does ADVANCED OVERLOAD CLASS setting do/mean?

Look in this thread.
Further down in it, there's mention of the slot cycle setting (how often your phone checks for network activity such as an incoming call), and also some sort of prefferential access for emergency services.
