How loud is the speakerphone on the Kyocera SE47?

can those who have the Kyocera SE47 give me some input about the effectiveness of the speakerphone.
If you've had nextel that would be a good comparison...
Also, how is the speakerphone while talking back and forth as oppossed to just listening to voicemail on speakerphone?

the speaker is no way near as loud as my old i1000 and i90c. Its useable but only when your by your self in a dark room. Listening is okay but I've had problems with the speaker fading out when I talk

it is very usable. I know some people who use their(metro) sliders just like you'd use a P2T phone. it can be turned up and become very loud.

you know, I just looked at my phone and the speaker isn't turned all the way up and I don't think it ever has. I never keep the earpiece up loud either. Still doesn't beat my nextels though, but it is a lot better than I thought

The speakphone is okay for a small phone, it's loud, but it does sound distorted sometimes. Try using the smart volume feature. It helps a little.
