Need Help with G51e ..New to the forums..

Hi All,

I am new to the board. Purchased a G51e from Hong Kong a few weeks ago and starting to get used to the phone. I have two questions that maybe you guys/gals can answer:

1. How do I remove the "Rogers AT&T" logo from my screen.? (if that's even possible?)

and...

2. How do I add my contacts into my Group lists? For the life of me, i cannot figure it out.

Unfortunately, this phone was mailed to me without the owners manual. Any help would be appreciated!

2. go to ure phone book and pick the person u want to add, then go edit and keep moving down until u reach group

Thanks for answering my questions.

Regarding the Group listing, I have tried and all i see in the "edit" name is : Name, Phone, Location and Record number.

Any other ideas on this ?

hmm, thats wierd... well i have a g50 and i assumed it would be the same but i guess not. when i go edit name it has name, numbers, caller's id, groups, melodies

maybe someone here with a g51 can help u out with that

that's becuz you're using the SIM phone book, you need to use the Phone's phone book in order for contact grouping, copy your address book to phone first, set it to use phone, phone book and you'll see the grouping

Hi nx2k,

Thanks for the information! It makes sense. Now, only thing I can't figure out is how to copy the SIM phone book to the Phone phone book. I've looked thru the menus, but I cannot find it.

Just go to the first post in your phonebook
(or any post, for that matter) & press the
menu-button, scroll down to the 'copy all
to phone' option. And voilà: you're done!
