How do I get rid of the blinking Verizon Wireless on the external LCD?

Regarding the external LCD: Every time I look at my phone, it will say Verizon Wireless, then change to the time, then back to Verizon Wireless and so on. Its really annoying. This even happens when receiving a call! It will say Verizon Wireless, then show the number of whos calling, then back to Verizon Wireless and so on. I mean really, theres already a Verizon Wireless logo on the phone outside, does Verizon really need to prostitute themselves this much????

Anyways, is there a way that I can just leave the time on the external LCD?

Hmm...your post is in the Audiovox forum but you don't have any Audiovox phones listed.

If you're talking about the 8900 you can try this search link.

If you're not talking about the 8900 then others will probably wonder what phone you are referring to.

Oops my bad... up until yesterday I had the VX6000 and it got stolen so I just bought the CDM 8900 and that was the first thing that really got my eye as an annoying thing.

So yeah, I have the 8900

you just have to find the eri file, for it, and it is said that it goes away, if you cant find it here, it is posted on the site in my Signature...in the downloads section.
