Hi

Alright I took off my flip the first day I got my p900... Last week I updated to the newest firmware, and this week I decided to switch it up and put the flip back on..... I've been using my phone for about 3 1/2 months now. But I could have swore that when you open the flip it answer the call.... Now I have to press on the screen to get it to pick up the call, and when i close the flip it doesn't hangup! Also after I close the flip then open the speaker phones comes on as normal...

I've tried every thing I could think about! Just wondering if anyone else has this issue before I send it back to sony ericsson. Another thing my headphones are busted and I've never even used them before... so that kinda stupid for a 1100 phone! Oh well...

Any help would be great

Thanks in advance

No...since the flip doesn't open a mic or anything it doesn't answer a call or hang up for you...not while using a BT headset anyway. The flip lets you access the PDA portion of the phone, and doesn't really have a bearing on the usability of the phone. Maybe there's a setting where you can change this but I'm not sure. The flip doesn't contain the mic.

Are you opening the flip to answer calls? You can keep it closed to talk you know...

* flip is not active
* opening the flip in a call will turn on the speakerphone
