Problem with a 7250i and changing wallpapers

I've uploaded a wallpaper to my phone and set it has default wallpaper, problem is when i try and change the wallpaper the phone keeps switching off. Is there a way to correct this problem.

This is a known bug in the firmware version 3.22 of 7250i. Having it flashed to a newer version solves the problem. You can also avoid this by going to Menu --> Settings --> Display Settings --> Wallpaper and changing the wallpaper from there.

Can i upgrade the firmware myself, or do i have to send it back to the shop where i bought it from.

Yes you can do it yourself, but you'll need a flashing cable and some software. I don't know much about flashing, so can't help you more.

If your phone is still under warranty, then the upgrade would most probably be free. Check from the shop where you bought it from.
