I searched on this and couldn't find it - hopefully I'm not asking a stoopid question

.

I've dl'd some ringer midi files from freewap.nl and they show up on my phone as sound clips, not ringers like they should... how can I make them ringers?!

I have verizon, but this still might help.

All my downloads go to 'downloads' and are then divided up into Images, Animations, or Tones.

When I want to make a downloaded file a ringer I do this...

settings;sounds;ringertype;ringer

and then press the left or right arrow until I see 'Downloads' at the top. I then select my file.
